a Church without walls...

“And they continued steadfastly... in prayers (Acts 2:42)."

How is your prayer life?

Luke 11:1 And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray,

The Bible tells us that the Jews of Christ’s day kept three certain hours of prayer every day. We see throughout the Acts of the Apostles that the first Christians kept to this custom of prayer. The result was a Church charged with the Power of the Holy Spirit!

One of the greatest tragedies of modern Christianity is the loss of the “art” and discipline of prayer. If we want the power of God in our lives, we have to “Uplink” to His will through prayer. No true Prayer… No true Power!

While we want to avoid being mechanical in our prayers, it is essential that we, as believers, practice a structured and regimented prayer life. For, “unless your righteousness exceeds that of the Pharasees, you shall in no wise inherit the Kingdom of God.”
